Apprentice Responsibilities
- Review The Apprenticing Committment
- Develop program goals with mentor
- Meet with Mentor 1 time per month for 6 month commitment
- Attend 2 Doula Networking Teas or other doula community gatherings during 6 month program
- Submit 1 progress report to the Mentoring Chair 3 months into the mentoring relationship
- Submit 1 completion report to the Mentoring Chair at the completion of the mentoring relationship
Apprentice Qualifications
Professionals interested in participating in the Program as an Apprentice must meet these minimum qualifications:
- Must be a member of the Colorado Doulas Association
- Must have completed a doula training program
Apprentice Acceptance Process
- Revolving entry for Apprentices
- Contact the CDA for an Apprentice Application
- View Mentor Profiles online and contact Mentor directly to set up interview.
- If a match is made, notify the CDA Mentor Chair of the established relationship.
